Payment & Cancellation Policy
Clear booking conditions make travel easier. This policy explains how payments, deposits, cancellations, refunds, optional activities and child rates work when booking tours and travel services with Get Your Tours Egypt.

By confirming a booking with Get Your Tours Egypt, you agree to the terms described on this page. Please read them carefully before completing your reservation.
Payment Policy
For most tours and excursions, payment can be made in the currency agreed during the booking process. We commonly accept Egyptian Pounds, Euros, US Dollars and Pounds Sterling.
Cancellation Policy
Day Trips & Overnight Tours by Car
Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the scheduled start of the activity, unless different conditions are stated on the specific tour page or booking confirmation.
Private & Airport Transfers
Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the scheduled transfer time, unless otherwise stated during booking.
Refund Policy
For selected local activities, more flexible last-minute cancellation terms may apply. Where applicable, the following refund conditions are used:
- Sea trips, desert safaris and city tours: a full refund may be available when cancellation is made at least 6 hours before the activity.
- Cultural and sightseeing tours: a full refund may be available when cancellation is made at least 12 hours before departure.
- If an eligible cultural tour is cancelled around 8 hours before departure, a 50% refund may apply.
Tipping
Tipping is common in Egypt and is often used as a way to show appreciation for good service from guides, drivers, boat crews and other service staff.
Tips are always optional. If you feel that the service deserves a gratuity, it will be appreciated, but you are under no obligation to leave a tip unless a specific service charge has been clearly stated in advance.
Optional Tours & Entrance Tickets
Optional experiences and additional entrance tickets are not included in the tour price unless they are specifically listed as included on the tour page or added during the booking process.
Examples may include entry inside one of the Giza Pyramids, special tomb tickets such as Tutankhamun’s Tomb, optional boat trips, additional activities or other premium entrance tickets.
If you choose to add an optional visit, the required ticket or activity fee is payable separately unless otherwise confirmed in writing.
